Every photographer is different in how they operate. To give you an idea of what to expect from our first interaction, all the way through wedding day, I put together a roadmap to remove the mystery of what happens throughout the entire process.

This is meant to be a little guide for anyone interested in helping out as a second photographer on wedding day. Even if you’re not a photographer and you’re just curious to know what a day in the life of a second photographer looks like, feel free to continue reading.

A common question I get asked a lot is “Have you ever photographed at <insert venue name here>?” To answer that question, I wanted to put together a blog post of all of the venues I’ve photographed (so far) around the Omaha area, with information and links to each one.

To give you an idea of what 7 hours of photography time looks like on Wedding Day, I’ve included a couple example timelines with common moments I see couples request to have photographed.
